2004 Czech Euro Open

It's very important to enjoy ourselves. Even travelling to a shooting competition should not be just about the match. Cesky Krumlov in Czech Republic commanded us to spend some quality time..

Frank, Steinar, Tommy and I drove from Kongsvinger,
Norway through Sweden, Germany and into the
Czech Republic. Our two and a half week trip
had just started. Coming in to Czech is like going
back in time. Beautiful country.

The Czech Euro Open
was held close to Cesky Krumlov, an incredibly
beautiful medieval town located in the south.
Match itself was not as big this year as years past.
A rainstorm had just come through and blown out
8 stages, leaving 15 for us to shoot.
Coming from a military background,
Tommy had a couple of things or two
to inform Steinar of..
I can honestly recommend making a vacation trip to
Cesky Krumlov. If you just want to kick back with
good food in a beautiful city, look no further.

The castle displayed some rather
unusual Czech art...
One of our plans was to practice between the
Czech Euro Open and the European Championships
the weekend after.

Mats, Fabian, Frank and I did just that.

Good times in Cesky Krumlov...
