2006 Double Tap Championships

This second annual match is quickly becoming a must-shoot match. Jerry Westcott, Paul Clark jr. and I drove to Wichita Falls. First major match of the year for me, here we go...

The double tap is a two day match, 12 stages,
with high round count field courses. It's an easy match
to shoot, no swingers, one Texas star, mostly
full targets, rarely a no-shoots in sight and two drop
turners in the entire match.

It's a fun match and everybody loves shooting it. Limited class drew over ten GM's and it would have been the gun to shoot, but for my love of open class, I say no more..

Max won Limited and Travis ran away with Open.
Congrats guys, second year in a row.

Manny, tearing it up, ripping away obstacles. and
shooting solid. A gentleman on the range and
a pleasure to shoot with.

Paul, always the joker, demonstrated his
amazing speed ability.

Coming from Colorado I dressed for cold weather.
We had 28 degrees in the morning,
but it warmed up quickly.

David Long, Mr. Precision Bullets, and Jerry
kicking back with the rest of us us after the match.
