Boulder Rifle Club
BRC must be one of the World's most exclusive Shooting Clubs. You may attempt bribery, extortion or whatever creative method you can think of to get in. The only thing that will get you in some day, is to wait. Waiting for current members to drop their membership when they move, get tired of shooting (... ?), hit the age of 65 or die. When I moved to Boulder in 1999 I got on the list. 6-11-2006 marks a happy day in my life, it's the day I finally was taken in from the cold. The facility is beautifully maintained by it's members and offer 25, 50, 100 and 200 yard outdoor ranges. We even have a heated indoor range for those snowy Colorado months.
If you consider moving to or live in the Denver area, we have practical shooting matches every weekend at one of the six ranges in the area.

This close, but no closer. I've waited to pass through these gates for 6.5 years.. I did consider moving somewhere else, but hey, it's Colorado..
Where else is there - really - to live ?

Member or not, you can enjoy shooting local USPSA
and action steel matches several times per month.

Just north of Boulder on Hwy 36 towards Lyons, it's a
beautiful place to spend 90+ degrees summer days.

My long time friend and martial arts teacher,
Allan Lawson visited on my first day as an official
member. I was able to show him some tricks with the
pistol in a humble effort to repay some of the time
he has put into teaching martial arts.

Even little rabbits enjoy the work that has been put
in to provide a place to shoot in the shade... ;-)
