IPSC BOX H-550 Base Pad (#1 Pad for IPSC Standard !)

This pad is 0.030" (0.75mm) longer than the H-520 IPSC Standard Box pad. It will allow you to reload to up to 19 rounds! I supply with a Grams 10 coil follower & spring for durability. As you start using it, it will be easier to put 19 in your magazines, but if you yourself cut one more coil off to 9 coil spring you'll be rocking stages like never before. It will allow for easy reload to 19 rounds! Note that this pad is meant for a "big" IPSC BOX. The rules specify 150mm -0/+1mm. With this pad your gun will squeeze into about 150.5mm. It's tight, but doable and wouldn't you want to have at least a couple of magazines that you can reload to 19 rounds with? That's how I do it and base all my other mags off of the H-520 which are solid reloadable 18 + 1 round magazines.

My H-550 basepads have passed the IPSC Standard Box in 2007 IPSC European Championships, 2008 Czech Extreme Euro and 2008 New Zealand Nationals.

First introduced at the 2007 European Championship in Cheval Blanc, I used these pads myself on factory magazines to achieve an amazing 19 + 1 rounds in IPSC Standard Class with a 9 coil spring. These pads will fit the IPSC BOX and let you start with 20 rounds in the gun! I use these pads to reload to 18 rounds using a 10-coil spring kit. You know you'll be 100% legal in a 150mm IPSC BOX.

I've always thought the factory pad was a uncomfortable to use for reloads so I created my own. It has the same internal depth as the factory pad, but it's much slicker and fits really nice in my hands.

Now available for both large and small frame magazines. For Large Frame magazines, this pad combined with the new Follower/Spring kit you can reload to 21 rounds in 40 S&W! To make it USPSA 141.25mm legal you have to shave the back of the magazine slightly to get it into the gauge. This setup gives you reloadable 21 rounds right off the bat, no need to wait for the springs to "set". I also sell complete, ready-to-go competition magazines in the magazine section. In 38 super you will be able to fit 24 + 1 rounds in the new style 38 super magazines and you would of course not need to modify the magazine body.

For the new H141S magazine pad plus the specially modified Grams follower&spring you can put 23 rounds in 9x19 in the factory magazine bodies.
